When I think of fall and fires I think of bonfires and fires in the fireplace. Tonight was our first fire in the fireplace. I do believe a fire in the fireplace and hot chocolate are two of my favorite things about fall. Next in line (though I’m not anxious for it, because it means there will soon be trees with no leaves) of my favorite fall things are driving down a street on a sunny day with beautiful colors on the trees.
Today one of my daughters brought me a teeny tiny leaf, half pink and half green. Thank you Lord for the beauty of the earth in fall!
