Get Real! A Mother/Daughter Conference
Saturday November 7th 2009 held at Evangelical Free Church in Crystal Lake, IL 60014. This conference is a great opportunity to grow the relationship between mothers and daughters! If you know anyone who has teenage daughters or if you know of moms who have younger daughters but want to be prepared for what lies ahead… this is a great opportunity to learn some incredible insight and practical tools of how to navigate the teen years with joy and celebration instead of dread and fear. Information Regarding Group
Books: Please write your name in your book. Please make sure your books have stickers in the front. Next week those reading Professionalizing Motherhood, are to read chapters 1 and 2.
Elevator: The elevator is extremely sensitive and the alarm will go off if the door is held or if the button inside the elevator is pushed to hold the doors open. Instead, allow the doors to close and then press the open doors button.
Childcare: For those using childcare, please bring finger food snacks. Nothing messy, or anything with peanuts or peanut oil. Good examples are animal crackers, gold fish, teddy grahams etc. work well.
Additional Childcare Workers Needed: We would like to add a few more substitute childcare workers. Please pick up an orange half sheet with all of the details to tell anyone you know who might be able to help occasionally.

First Baptist Church of Geneva Women’s Ministries

Moms Together is a group similar to ours created to affirm and encourage mothers of infants through elementary-age children. The group meets first and third Thursday’s of the month with identical programs. There may be a topic which might speak directly to your heart depending on the circumstances you are facing in your family.

We are a mom’s group ministry of Ginger Creek Community Church in Aurora, IL. Our mission is to create a support system for women in the profession of motherhood. To educate and challenge them as wife, mother, and home manager while providing a safe place where they are valued and encouraged through a growing relationship with Christ. We hope this blog will extend some of this ministry to you.
