Trisha Sellers
Trisha began her involvement with A Mother’s Heart as a participant in 2000. Trisha is currently a ministry leader for A Mother’s Heart along with Jan Peery and Jill Ross. She has been married to husband Mike for 14 years and has 3 kids–Steven, 12, and 10 yr old twin daughters Amy and Sarah. They reside in West Chicago. Trisha grew up in Elkhart, Indiana and earned an Associates degree in Applied Music and a Bachelors degree in Management of Human Resources. Trisha enjoyed being a full time stay at home mom for 11+ years. As of January 2009, out of necessity to help provide financially, she began a part-time job as administrator of children’s ministry for Ginger Creek Community church. Two of her most favorite things to do, outside of spending time with her family are dining al fresco and reading in bed!
Melissa Weis
Melissa began attending A Mother’s Heart in 2008. She and her husband Eric have been married for six years and have twin daughters Maddie and Hannah (2) and one on the way. Melissa grew up in Michigan and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Judson College. Melissa enjoys writing and is looking forward to contributing to A Mother’s Heart blog.
We are a mom’s group ministry of Ginger Creek Community Church in Aurora, IL. Our mission is to create a support system for women in the profession of motherhood. To educate and challenge them as wife, mother, and home manager while providing a safe place where they are valued and encouraged through a growing relationship with Christ. We hope this blog will extend some of this ministry to you.
