Who We Are
We are a mom’s group ministry of Ginger Creek community Church. Our mission is to create a support system for women in the profession of motherhood, that will educate and challenge them as wife, mother, and home manager while providing a safe place for them to be valued and encouraged through a growing relationship with Christ. We hope this blog will extend some of this ministry to you.

-We meet in small groups as we study a book.
-We have several guest Speakers through out the year.
-Mom’s nights out.
-We attend a mom’s conference in March.
The next season of A Mother’s Heart will begin on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. New for a Mother’s Heart are groups for moms of teens and tweens! This new addition will be offered both in the morning and evening. The evening group will only be for moms of tween/teens. Professionalizing Mootherhood: Encouraging, Educating, and Equipping Mothers by Jill Savage ($11)
and for mom’s of tweens/teens, Got Teens? Time Tested Answers for Moms of Teens and Tweens by Jill Savage and Pam Farrel ($10)
Books may be purchased on the first day.
We already have some great speakers lined up for the year including Sherryl Stone on “Parenting With the Least Amount of Regret.” The morning group will meet Wednesdays from 9:15 am – 11 am. Child care will continue to be provided at a cost of $3.00 per child, per week, paid on a monthly basis, with a $6.00 maximum per family. The evening group will meet from 7:00 pm-8:30 pm.
The annual registration fee will remain at $10. This, along with the financial support of Ginger Creek Community Church, will help with the expenses of this ministry. One of these main expenses is child care. While moms must pay a fee for child care, the amount we ask for does not cover the cost paid to the child care workers. If ANY of these fees would prevent you from participating, there are scholarships available. Also, if you are someone who has the resources and desire to contribute to the scholarship fund, we welcome that and thank you.
