You’ve heard the phrases, “It’s never as easy as it seems.” “Things take twice as long as you think they will.” “I feel like I’m swimming upstream.”
Grocery shopping, fairly straightforward but can be challenging if your toddler, preschooler is coming along. I don’t have that excuse but I had my challenge today. After loading groceries in my car, I could not find my keys. At first I thought it must have fallen to the bottom of my purse. Of course I shake it first to see if I hear them! I thought I did…dug around…no keys…Okay, guess I have to empty my purse. Still no keys! Are they with my groceries? Thankfully I didn’t buy a lot of groceries on this trip. I search through the groceries. Still no keys. I know I unlocked my car so they couldn’t be far. Finally, I decide to check the cart that I had put back in the corral. Thank God, there were my keys on the cement. How did I not hear them fall???? Nothing is every easy!
We are a mom’s group ministry of Ginger Creek Community Church in Aurora, IL. Our mission is to create a support system for women in the profession of motherhood. To educate and challenge them as wife, mother, and home manager while providing a safe place where they are valued and encouraged through a growing relationship with Christ. We hope this blog will extend some of this ministry to you.
